08.08.08VAB Insurance calculated results for the first-half year of 2008

According to the data at the end of the first half-year of 2008 operations, the insurance payments of VAB Insurance amounted to UAH 31844,3 thou., insurance payments were UAH 14027,2 thou., which is in 1,36 and 3,03 times more as compared to the same period in 2007. «In spite of the fact that the first half-year was difficult for the insurance market, company continues its development», – Alexandr Melinik, Chairman of the VAB Insurance Board said. For the first half-year 2008 VAB Insurance concluded 19,574 contracts. Besides, it opened two representative offices in Lviv and Kyiv and today has 47 offices in Ukraine. The company has 23 licenses on realization of 7 obligatory and 16 voluntarily insurance types. The company network is counted by a 35 regional subdividing into territories of Ukraine and 150 points of sales. As of January 1st, 2008, the company’s insurance reserves was UAH 22 212,6 thou., assets – UAH 97 773,3 thou., capital – UAH 65,5 thou.All news |
