05.08.08VAB Bank Granted USD16m Loan to Domotechnika

VAB Bank signed USD 16 million-worth loan agreement with Domotechnika LLC, a network of electronics supermarkets, for the period of 24 months. Commenting the agreement, Mr Roman Kibets, Chief Financial Officer of Domotechnika LLC, remarked that VAB Bank offered the most optimal loan product to date. The funds received will be directed towards working capital increase. In October 2006, VAB Bank became a member of VAB Group. Branch network consists of 25 branches and 143 outlets throughout Ukraine and a representative office in Budapest (Hungary). A large international company, TBIF Financial Services (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), is among the bank’s shareholders. Total assets of VAB Bank amounted to UAH 6.7 billion as of 01 January 2008, total capital — UAH 675 million.
