Fitch Ratings Affirmed VAB Bank’s Ratings
The leading international rating agency Fitch Ratings has affirmed VAB Bank’s “B-” Long-term Issuer Default Rating, “B” Short-term IDR, “D/E” Individual rating, Support “5”, “BBB-(ukr)” National Long-term Rating. The Long-term IDR and National Long-term ratings carry Stable outlook.

VAB Bank summarized the results for the six months of 2008
VAB Bank summarized the results of the first-half of 2008. As of July 1st, 2008, the loan portfolio raised to UAH 4.9 billion, increasing from the beginning of the year by 7.8%. Thus, individual loans volume grew on UAH 127.4 million in the first quarter and on UAH 126.4 million in the second quarter, totally comprising UAH 1.5 billion. The size of credits, given to corporate clients exceeded UAH 3.4 billion, increased from the beginning of the year on UAH 100 million

Tsvetan Petrinin is appointed as VAB Bank Deputy Chairman
The Supervisory Board of VAB Bank appointed Tsvetan Petrinin as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board responsible for retail business. Mr Petrinin will take over the responsibilities of Zhanna Alekseyeva, who has resigned from the bank due to family reasons, and will also occupy the position of Head of Retail Business and Distribution at VAB Bank.

VAB bank joined UkrAvtoLeasing’ (“Express-credit” trade mark) renovated on-line base of banks, which give auto loans. The company is a part of UkrAVTO, the largest producer and dealer of automobiles in Ukraine.
