VAB Bank Supervisory Board decided to appoint Lukas Tursa as the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. In his new position Mr.Tursa will be in charge of treasury operations, international borrowings, and VAB Bank investment business.
Lukas Tursa has been with VAB Bank since the end of 2006 as the Head of Treasury and Financial Institutions Department. He has been working in the financial field for more than 10 years. Bofore he joined VAB Bank he was employed by financial organizations in Great Britain and Lithuania (last position – Director of State Treasury Department of Lithuanian Republic). Mr.Tursa studied banking and international finances at City University Business School in London.
According to Petr Baron - VAB Group Chairman of the Management Board, Lukas Tursa has extensive working experience in the area of international borrowings and liquidity management, as well as wide contacts with international banks and financial organizations. «We are sure that the professionalism and experience of Lukas will help achieve targets set to develop our Bank on the international and local markets», - said Petr Baron.
