05.12.07 VAB Bank started a new IT project, based on Microsoft products
MKS System Integration will be constructing a new IT infrastructure based on the products and technologies of Microsoft corporation for VAB Bank. The company became a winner of the tender to fulfill this job for VAB Bank.
The project solution of MKS System Integration presupposes creating an IT infrastructure based on the Active Directory 2003 technology and products of the newest Microsoft line: System Center family products and technologies.
The project solution will use System Center Configuration Manager 2007 (SMS), which replaced a product that became quite widely used lately - System Management Server 2003, and also System Center Operations Manager 2007, which replaced Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM).
It will also allow centralizing the management of IT infrastructure of the financial group, and getting a full control over usage of hardware and software resources. The system of proactive monitoring of key services and systems (SCOP 2007) will allow identifying possible difficulties in the system prior to their occurrence. The project solution will gather all IT processes that will be constructed according to the recommendations from ITIL – MOF. Development and implementation of the product will use the recommendations and methodology of MSF, which is already used in MKS System Integration. At the end of the project, the project team will give recommendations based on the optimization model of infrastructure of Microsoft corporation, called Infrastructure Optimization Model (IOM).
Project details will be implemented in the head office of the bank, in the First and Second Kyiv affiliate offices, and in all branches that report to them. Later on, the project will be implemented in all the regional affiliate offices and branches of VAB.
