As from October, 29, 2007 VAB Bank increased the rates of holdings of private clients in national and foreign currencies. For the different type of holdings in Hryvnyas and US Dollars the rate were increased by 0.75% and for Euro by 0.5%.
Now it is possible for private clients to place with VAB Bank amounts in Hryvnyas at an interest rate of 15.25% p.a., in US Dollars at 11.05% p.a. and in Euro at 8.55% p.a.
Today VAB Bank offers the optimum set of products of deposits with simple and clear terms, satisfying the different necessities of clients: deposit with interest payment at the end of the term, with monthly interest payments, or with the possibility of additional and partial withdrawal.
As recently reported, until the beginning of October 2007, VAB Bank attracted on the deposits of private clients 1 298.1 million UAH (which is 87,9 % more than in the same period of 2006) and opened more than 28 000 savings accounts.
