21.09.07 New procedure to grant mortgages
According to the head of development of retail business of VAB Bank, Anton Shaperenkov, today the bank are competing in granting mortgages not only on the level of offering to clients the most advantageous terms, but also in the speed of acceptance by the bank.
«In the first half-year a few banks gave up the obligatory requirement of certificates of profits and demanding a large down-payment for a mortgage credit.
From October onwards VAB Bank plans to start a new procedure to grant mortgages, where the client gets a “yes” or “no” answer within 5-6 hours, whereupon a credit will be available on the 2nd or 3rd day from the signing of the documents to acquire an apartment», - Anton Shaperenkov explains.
VAB Bank grants credits in Hryvnyas, US Dollars and Euro running up to 25 years with a 15% down payment of the cost of the real estate. The fixed interest rates vary from 17% p.a. in Hryvnyas to 12% p.a. in US Dollars and Euro.
Along with the general program of mortgage crediting VAB Bank offers credits for the repair and security of property.
