23.07.07 Demand on the deposit boxes of VAB Bank increased by 25% this year
Since the beginning of the year demand on the deposit boxes of VAB Bank grew by 25%.
According to the head of private business of VAB Bank, Olga Matveeva, today 80 % of VAB Banks deposit boxes are being used. «This is not only related to the seasonal factor, as the demand on leasing of deposit boxes stably rises in the summer holiday period and new-year holidays. Clients who worry about the safety of their valuables not only lease deposit boxes, but also search for favourable conditions of leasing», — Olga Matveeva says.
As reported before VAB Bank operates the program for club members depositors, which includes the possibility to lease boxes with a 50% discount. In addition, access to the boxes is possible by proxy or only in the presence of the two persons, who are named in the agreement. This allows the client to determine who he wants to use the deposit box.
Most in demand are the small boxes for the storage of valuables and documents. The lease rates depend on its sizes and duration of the lease. When a box is leased for a longer period, then the daily rate is cheaper.
According to the head of private business of VAB Bank, Olga Matveeva, today most of the clients, who lease deposit boxes, are individuals. Depositing values is possible not only in Kiev but, practically in every regional branch of VAB Bank.
