05.07.07 Deposit portfolio of VAB Bank grew almost 32% in the first half of the year
From the beginning of year the volume of the attracted funds in the portfolio of VAB Bank has grown by 31.9% and now amounts to about 1.4 milliard UAH.
According to the head of the management of development of products of retail business of VAB Bank, Anton Shaperenkov, the growth of the deposit portfolio testifies the trust in the Ukrainian banking system on the whole and to VAB Bank in particular.
«The Ukrainians begin to understand that money must work, instead of to let remain an unproductive capital. We developed a series of programs of deposits so that everybody finds the best for himself and gets a maximized profit», — Anton Shaperenkov says.
VAB Bank offers 6 programs of deposits: «32», «Mobile Economies», «Gamanets», «Sotsialniy», «Oschadniy», «Na vimogy». These programs foresee different periodicity for the payment of profits. It is possible to obtain a percentage on a deposit monthly, quarterly, on a half-year basis or at the end of the agreement. In addition, in opening a savings account, a depositor can get an international pay card on favourable terms.
Presently VAB Bank is used by about 170 thousand accounts of physical persons, including about 8 thousand accounts of pensioners and recipients of social payments.
